Get Online will provide another series of groups throughout October including two new venues.

MONDAY AFTERNOONS : LEITH LIBRARY

TUESDAY AFTERNOONS : EAST NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE, CRAIGMILLAR

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS : BLACKHALL LIBRARY

THURSDAY MORNINGS: MORNINGSIDE LIBRARY

FRIDAY MORNINGS : CENTRAL LIBRARY

All of these are ‘bring any device’ except for the Blackhall group which will be for iPad only

“We were shown how to get as much as we could cope with and were taken through it on a step by step basis. Nothing was too much trouble and I left with much greater confidence. I would have no hesitation in recommending one of these groups to anyone else”.

There will be a general Lab (bring any device) at Leith Library (Ferry Road) on Monday afternoons, 2 – 4 pm for five weeks from September 29th.

There will also be a new iPad group meeting at Blackhall Library (Hillhouse Road) on Wednesday’s, 12 – 2pm for four weeks from October 1st. These groups are part tutor-led class and part working in small groups with the support of volunteers to help you master the essentials of the iPad.

Although I have had my I Pad for some months, I needed to understand why things happened rather than just following a list of instructions with no explanation. The class was superb and the instructions clear, concise and understandable. I am sorry that I have had only 4 sessions as I would love to explore more. However I am delighted with what I have learned”.
