New Get Online groups for August
Get online will be providing several new groups at new venues from mid-August.
iPad group, Monday afternoons, 2 – 4, Stockbridge Library, from Monday August 18th (four weekly sessions) – bring along your iPad and learn how to get the most out of your device from simply downloading and using apps, using the iTunes Store, the internet, reading books etc.etc. Contact Stockbridge library staff to book a place. Part of these sessions will be tutor-led but staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide 1:1 support where required
General Lab at Central Library Friday mornings, 10.30 – 12.30 from August 15th (five weekly sessions)
General Lab at Morningside Library Thursday mornings, 10.30 – 12.30 from August 21st (five weekly sessions)
The general Labs provide 1:1 support and you can bring along any device (laptop, iPad, tablet, smartphone) to get help. You will agree a short learner plan for the five sessions so everything is based around what you need help with and being able to learn at your pace.
If you are interested in attending either the Central or Morningside groups drop in and speak to staff or:
Call Central Library on 242 8020

Get Online will continue too to provide a Lab at East Neighbourhood Centre, Craigmillar on Tuesday afternoons and to support residents at Moira Park Sheltered Housing scheme.
